Location of my project

 I chose a location for my project in the centre of Leicester, at 145 Welford Rd (LE2 7LW). This is a former canal pier and industrial area on the bank of the Grand Union Canal near Lime Kiln Lock №43. Now this territory is abandoned. Near this place are urban buildings, educational institutions, offices, shops. Since the location is located in the city centre, it has convenient access for visitors. I decided that this place is suitable for my project because it is located in the centre and therefore is accessible for people who want to take a break in the daily urban routine. At the same time, the place is located in a quiet area surrounded by a park and a water kanal. Another reason why I chose the location in Leicester is that I can visit this place and take high-quality photos that I can use for illustrations of my project. I also visited this location and took a few photos that I will use as a background for project illustrations.

I decided to change the location for my project, as we found a more suitable place for this in the tutorial. The new location is also located in Leicester not far from the previous location. It is an empty place between Pingle Wharf Approach and Pillings Ct. Post code LE3 5DL. The advantage of this place compared to the previous one is that this place is not abandoned but cleared for the construction of buildings. This redeveloped area is located in the city centre among residential buildings, which means that the area is quiet and at the same time with good accessibility. This place is located on the bank of the river, which provides a beautiful and aesthetic view.
I also visited this location and took a few photos that I will use as a background for project illustrations.
